Happy New Year!

Well, I guess I haven't lived up to my goal of trying to post something every week!  Maybe as a new year resolution, I can do that!  We'll see!! Ha!
My Winter Break is officially over on Monday, January 9th.  I can honestly say that I have truly enjoyed my three weeks off spending quality time with my hubby and little girl!  However, I am ready to get back to my students.  I  miss them!  :)
I will be beginning our week with a unit on Snow/Winter/Polar Bears.  It's my beginning of the new year unit to get the students back into their routines after being off for three weeks!  I have come across several winter ideas and activities that I can't wait to do with my kiddos!
Here are some pics of what we have been doing so far.  Hope you enjoy! :)

Back To School

I'm so sorry that I have been away for awhile.  My summer vacation officially ended last Wednesday.  Our first day of school was last Friday!  I had to move classrooms, so I have been working hard to get my new room ready for my students.  Now, I am back in "school mode"!! One of my goals this year is to try to post something on this blog weekly.  Hopefully, I can keep that goal!  I'm still in the process of figuring everything out for this blog.  I'm going to try to post some pictures soon!  I hope everyone is enjoying the rest of their summer break!  Happy New School Year!! :)

Free Giveaways

Ok, I have entered a few free giveaways that some other bloggers are hosting!  They are Mrs. Bainbridge's Class and Mrs. Fiorini's Stadium.  Both of them are giving away free classroom theme activities!  So, if you are a teacher, then head on over there, and leave a comment.
Thanks!
Nichole :)

My First Blog!

OK, I'm very new to this blogging thing, so hopefully, I can do it justice!  I guess I will be learning my way through this!  I'm really excited about this - informing other teachers of what's going on in my class, as well as informing parents, too!  I'm recommending a blog for teachers to check out - it's peacelovelearning.blogspot.com.  She is giving away a birthday packet for free!  I've already checked it out, and it is wonderful!  I can't wait to use it in my classroom!  OK, until next time.....
Love,
Nichole :)
